How Many Repair Visits Do I Need to Qualify Under The California Lemon Law?
The California Lemon Law requires consumers to first give the dealership a "reasonable opportunity" to repair the vehicle under warranty.  What is reasonable is a reasonable number of repair attempts is a hot topic in the lemon law.  However, generally speaking, a consumer must first bring a suspected lemon vehicle to the dealership on 4 separate occasions for the same defect, or the car must spend a cumulative total of 30 days in the shop for multiple defects.

We recommend speaking with a Lemon Law Attorney as soon as you suspect your car or truck is spending too much time at the dealership for warranty repairs.  Even if it is just the 2nd or 3rd repair attempt, give us a call for a free consultation and become an informed consumer regarding your rights under the California Lemon Law.
